Desert Night Run at Al Marmoom
Al Marmoom Desert Reserve, the country's first unfenced conservation territory, is organising an evening run on 9 January for participants to enjoy the exquisite landscape and environment with options for a 2.5km, 5km or 10km path. There is no time as spectacular to go for a run in the desert as when the sun has descended over the horizon, leaving behind the silhouettes of the dunes.
The breathtaking Al Marmoom Desert Reserve spans more than 40 hectares of shrubland and is home to over 204 species of native birds, 158 species of migratory birds, and expansive lakes, including the Al Qudra Lakes. Delight in the remarkable scenery and wildlife with friends and family while you run. Participants ages 6 and up are allowed to register, and with over 250 expected runners, book now to grab your spot.
